About Us

How it all started

In 1996, Gary Novotny had a vision of bringing a sport shop to the state of Colorado that strictly sold Nebraska Huskers Merchandise.   Nobody could of imagined such an idea except the Husker faithful!  Big Red of the Rockies has been a destination for visitors to the Rockies as well as the proud local fans alike.  We are proud to be a staple of the Nebraska fan base showing our pride nationwide!
